TAG Heuer pulled the covers off something special at Baselworld last month. The brand introduced the Monaco Automobile Club de Monaco Black Edition, a limited run created for the famous motoring club of Monaco. The timepiece comes housed in a 39mm titanium carbide coated case with fine-brushed and polished finishings, and it’s powered by TAG’s Calibre 12 chronograph movement. Matte black from bezel to bracelet, it looks like something you’d wear while carving through the corners of the Monte Carlo street circuit.
Only 225 pieces will be made, and each one is priced at $8,200 USD. Given how quickly Monaco editions tend to sell out, I’d expect these to vanish from boutiques just as fast.
