Jordi Swiss Icon introduced at this year’s Baselworld a new timepiece in their “Icons of the World” collection — “GENÈVE.” This collection pays homage, through beautiful designs and horological complications, to some of the world’s most legendary places. The case measures 46 mm and features a combination of titanium and 18K red gold, domed sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating, and is water resistant to 100 m. The striking dial includes, at 10 o’clock, a delightful representation of Geneva. Inside sits the MJ 1948.10 calibre — hand-wound, double-barrel (one barrel reserved for the gong-striking mechanism), 28,800 vib/h, 45 jewels, 340 components, and a 72-hour power reserve. The novelty is completed by a brown or black leather strap with a black stainless-steel PVD folding clasp. Priced at CHF 53,800 (approx. $60,903 USD at current exchange rates).
