British carmaker Jaguar has confirmed it will build 250 units of the Project 7 speedster and will present the car for the first time at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed on 26 June. Powered by Jaguar’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8, the F‑TYPE Project 7 is the fastest and most powerful production Jaguar ever built, capable of 0–100 km/h in 3.9 s thanks to its 575 hp. The Project 7 will be offered in five metallic colours: Ultra Blue, Caldera Red, British Racing Green (all with white decal options), Ultimate Black and Glacier White (both with grey decal options). Production begins in spring 2015.
