Swiss watchmaker Breitling teamed up with Deus Ex Machina to create a new chronograph, the ruggedly retro Top Time Deus. The new timepice is a nod to Breitling’s original 1960s watch and a true tribute to the nomad spirit.
“Bikers, boarders, surfers, digital nomads … this is a timepiece for dynamic people of action, purpose, and style. Our versatile Top Time Deus celebrates having the freedom to explore the world your way, at your pace.” – shared in a press release Breitling CEO Georges Kern.
Housed in a 41-millimeter stainless-steel case fitted to a perforated racing-style strap, the Top Time Deus is powered by Breitling Caliber 23, a COSC-certified chronometer, beating at 28,800 vibrations with 48 hours of power reserve.
The silver dial features yellow and orange details, Deus logo and its adage “In benzin veritas” – offset in white on its black tachymeter scale.
The case back features a motorcyclist in full flight, designed by Deus creative director Carby Tuckwell.
Priced at $4,990 the Top Time Deus is limited to 1.500 pieces and will be an available exclusive online until March 32 before hitting Breitling’s global retail network. Buyers who order the watch online will also get a stunning limited-edition Deus coffee table book and unique canvas tote bag.
